Please help save this disabled child's life!

Disabled people have been treated badly for a long, long time.  Disabled people shouldn't be treated like that, but even more so a disabled child.  Today I read about a little disabled girl named Amelia.  She's been through a whole lot, and has a lot more to go through.  Amelia has mental retardation and needs a kidney transplant to save her young life.  The doctor who makes the recommendation to the transplant team is recommending against Amelia getting a kidney transplant because she is mentally retarded.  Read that sentence again, I know its hard to believe.  Amelia will die without a new kidney.  This doctor is virtually signing her death warrant just because she is developmentally delayed.

What can you do?

You can sign this petition at change.org to be given to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  Change.org has caused many changes for the better across the world.

Please sign the petition here.
